Tim Campbell Motorcycles is a family owned business and has been operating in Portland Victoria for over 20 years.
Having worked as an apprentice motorcycle mechanic for former motorcycle shop owner Kelvin Douglass, Tim Campbell bought the business in 1993 and the locally renowned “Tim Campbell Motorcycles” was born.
Originally located at 151A Percy Street Portland, the business then moved to 25 Townsend Street Portland before expanding to the current location at 22 Fern Street Portland in 2005.
Our team has a solid reputation for invaluable knowledge and experience, offering both sales and servicing of motorcycles and ATV/UTV’s together with a well stocked retail store for all your biking needs.
As a CF Moto ATV/UTV dealership and second hand motorcycle dealer we can help you source your desired bike. We also have finance available for approved customers.

Tim Campbell (Nickname: MacGyver) - Owner/Lead Mechanic
Tim grew up on a farm in Heywood Victoria where his passion for all things Motorcycling began. It was 5 years after owing the business that Tim married his beautiful wife Julie and together they have two lovely children; Ella and Jake. The whole family are pivotal in helping the business succeed in addition to the team.
Known within the team as MacGyver, Tim is resourceful and possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of motorcycle mechanics. He solves complex problems with everyday materials he finds at hand, along with his ever-present duct tape and Swiss Army knife. We often have customers asking if Tim can make “xyz”.
Tim is a Licenced Vehicle Tester and Licenced Motor Car Trader. Although Tim willingly wears a number of hats as the business owner and team leader, his favourite aspect of his job is repairing and maintaining a variety of motorcycles.
Outside of work, Tim continues to champion Post Classic Sidecar racing and he is the Vice President of Portland MX Motorcross Club.
He also enjoys water skiing at the magnificent Bridgewater Lakes with his family.

Peter Cowland (Nickname: Moo) - Mechanic
Moo started with Tim in August 2000 having worked for himself as a Car Detailer. A photo as a 3 year old child holding a toy car was reminiscent of the start of a long career working with motors.
His claim to fame is being one of the founding members of the South West Touring Club and as President of the Portland & District Motoring Enthusiasts Club from 2008-2013.
Moo thoroughly enjoys tyre repairs and can often be found on bended knees in the workshop. A child at heart, he regularly races toy cars on his custom made race track on his property.
In his younger days, Moo raced road bikes and billycarts and also did Enduro racing. With a large collection of wheeled vehicles from pushbikes to remote controlled cars to motorcycles, there is not much that Moo can’t fix when it comes to servicing and repairs.

Steve Wood (Nickname: Pee Wee) - Sales Manager
Steve is responsible for managing our retail store and spare parts. He came to Tim Campbell Motorcycles in 2008 having worked as a salesperson at Autopro.
Steve is well respected for his honest and reliable approach to sales. From the popular items to the unusual spare part, Steve will go out of his way to source it for you.
He is a likeable character with a colourful array of tattoos. Steve also enjoys racing toy cars and participating in drag races. His hobbies include hunting, shooting and camping.
The aspect Steve most enjoys about his job is meeting different people from all walks of life and assisting them with all their biking needs.

Liam Hildebrand (Nickname: Hildy) - Trainee Mechanic
Liam joined the team in 2013 working after school as a trainee mechanic. He is currently attending Portland Secondary College and hopes to pursue a career as a Motorcycle Mechanic.
Liam has been involved in racing motorcycles since he was 5 years old and has recently won a number of awards.
When asked, Liam said the best part about his job is the good people he works with.

Sarah Fox (Nickname: Foxy) - Office Manager/Bookkeeper
Sarah runs her own bookkeeping business; Money Tree Bookkeeping and has been an embedded team member at Tim Campbell Motorcycles since October 2010.
Apart from managing the “books”, Sarah assists the team with processing payroll, banking, compliance activities and managing the office. Her other important task is keeping the boys in line!
Sarah is passionate about empowering small business owners to succeed financially. The best part about working at Tim Campbell Motorcycles for Sarah, is the office banter and how they guys make her smile every week.
